Random Card of the Week [6]

(Powered by yugioh.wikia.com)
Now featuring... A Rival Appears!
Effect: Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Special Summon1 monster from your hand that has the same Level as the selected monster.

Rulings
- For the effect of “A Rival Appears!”, refer to the levels of the monster on the field and the monster in the handat the time “A Rival Appears!” resolves (for purposes of “Cost Down”, “Level Conversion Lab”, “Mystical Space Typhoon” in a chain destroying “Demotion”, etc.)
- If the opponent’s monster is face-down or not on the field when “A Rival Appears!” resolves, then its effect disappears.
- If you do not have a monster of the same level as the target, you cannot activate “A Rival Appears!”

Tips
"Rare Metal Dragon" works great with this card.
- If you combo "A Rival Appears!" with "Shien's Spy", it acts as a double Summon. Plus, you get the monster used for "Shien's Spy" back during the End Phase.

Trivia
- The girl on the left of the card is "Ebon Magician Curran".
The girl on the right is "White Magician Pikeru".

Random Card of the Week [5]

(Powered by yugioh.wikia.com)

Now featuring... Black Salvo

Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 Level 4DARK Machine-Type monster from your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position. Its effect(s) is negated.

Rulings
- When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, the effect is a Trigger Effect which activates.
- The effect targets one DARK/Machine monster in your Graveyard.
- When a monster like "Exiled Force" is Special Summoned by "Debris Dragon"/"Black Salvo"/etc, if you activate the effect of "Exiled Force", then the effect will still be negated since it activated on the field, even though "Exiled Force" is no longer on the field.
- When "Debris Dragon"/"Black Salvo"/"Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode"/etc Special Summon a monster with an effect that activates in the Graveyard like "Sangan"/"Giant Rat"/"Mystic Tomato"/etc, then that effect is not negated. This is because "Debris Dragon etc only negate effects which activate or are applied on the field.

Tips
- If you are in a tough spot, you can Normal Summon this card and Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon" (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Rose_Dragon).
- This card has plenty of targets in an Ally of Justice Deck
(http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ally_of_Justice).
- Other than the "Reactor" monsters (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Reactor),
you can also use this to Special Summon DARK Machine-Type Monsters from your Deck after activating "Future Fusion" for "Chimeratech Overdragon". Examples include: "Cyberdark" monsters, "KA-2 Des Scissors", "Twin-Barrel Dragon", "Blast Sphere", "Cannon Soldier" or "Stealthroid".

Trivia
- This card's effect is similar to "Junk Synchron", "Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North" and "Alien Ammonite".
- This card looks similar to "Chain Chomp" from Mario Series.

Random Card of the Week [4]

(Powered by yugioh.wikia.com)

Now featuring... Synchro Soldier
Effect: Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can select 1 face-up Synchro Monster you control. Remove that face-up Synchro Monster you control from play and inflict 600 damage to your opponent. If you use this effect, during your next Standby Phase the removed from play monster returns to the field.

Rulings
- Removing the Synchro Monster is an effect that targets that monster, not a cost.
- Returning the removed from play Synchro Monster during your next Standby Phase is part of the Ignition Effect that inflicts damage

Tips
- You can remove from play "Majestic Star Dragon" or "Majestic Red Dragon", preventing them from returning to the extra deck and getting them back next turn.
- You can combine this card with "Meklord Emperor Granel", by Special Summon an a opponent´s Synchro Monster, and remove from play, then inflict damage to you opponent.
during your next Standby Phase the Synchro Monster is Special Summoned to you opponent´s side field, and You can simply Re-Equip to "Meklord Emperor Granel".

Random Card of the Week [3]

(Powered by yugioh.wikia.com)

Now featuring.... Batteryman Micro-Cell

Effect: FLIP: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Batteryman" monster from your Deck, except "Batteryman Micro-Cell". After this card has beenflipped face-up, when it is destroyed by battle and sent to theGraveyard, draw 1 card.

Rulings
If "Batteryman Micro-Cell" is flipped face-up with "Ceasefire", etc., you will still draw 1 card when it is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, but you won't be able to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Batteryman" monster from your Deck since it's a Flip Effect.

Tips
-If this card is attacked and flipped face-up, special summon "Batteryman D" because of its high DEF, to block more attacks.

-An incredible combo with this card is to flip it during your main phase and summon "Batteryman AA" (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Batteryman_AA) from your deck. Then, activate "Inferno Reckless Summon" (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Inferno_Reckless_Summon). This allows you to summon all AAs from your deck. So now you have three 3000 attackers, with just 2 cards-combo. And if you can clear your opponent's field (ex. with "Short Circuit" http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Short_Circuit), it's an OTK.

-This card is effectively a +1.
      Trivia
This card is based upon the "button cell" battery; commonly used in watches, calculators, laser pointers, etc.

Random Card of the Week [2]

      (Power by yugioh.wikia.com)

      Now featuring Photon Cerberus

effect: During the turn this card was Normal Summoned, neither player can activate Trap Cards while this card is face-up on the field.

      Rulings
      - When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, its effect does not start a Chain Link.
      - While the effect is active, you can still activate the effect of Continuous Trap Cards.

      Tips
      - Running this in a deck with few traps would be beneficial. Because it won't interrupt your steps.
      - Use Mist Valley Shaman, Mist Valley Thunder Lord, Genex Ally Birdman, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, or Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier to bounce this card back and reuse for benefits.

      Trivia
      - This card is based on the mythical beast, Cerberus (more information about Cerberus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerberus), the guard hound of the underworld. Unlike the other "Cerberus" monsters, this card stays true to its namesake.
      - This card is a monster version of "Trap Stun".
